First we download the provided file.
We are given a gameboy game file. We can emulate this using visualboyadvance-m.
After starting the game, we can see a player locked inside a box. We can move but we can't get out of the box.
After fidelling around we look at the map by going to Tools -> Map Viewer. We set the char base to 0x8800.
This reveals the flag.

We are given another gameboy game file. After opening it in visualboyadvance-m, we see a player in a box with a finish in the bottom right corner.
Unfortuantely, we can't reach the finish, because our player explodes after taking some steps. Because we can't take enough steps to reach the finish we have to get creative. Looking at the memory viewer while moving the player we find where the player position is stored and that the default position is
After trying around we figure out, that the goals position is
The cheatcode sets us to the target location, we deactivate the cheat, move up and down to trigger the win event and get the flag. You can deactivate the cheats under Tools -> Cheats -> List cheat.
